- Student yearbook containing students' literary short stories and poems, and images of the campus of Northern Arizona Normal School and the surrounding attractions. Includes individual portraits (normal school and high school), student activities, athletics, and organizations, as well as the names and images of faculty and staff at the college. Volume contains 11-page history of Northern Arizona Normal School (pp. 81-91), including a list of past college presidents and faculty members with years of service. Some volumes contain images of campus and nearby locations. Advertisements and sponsors of the yearbook are located at the end of the volume.

- Yearbooks issued by: the students of Northern Arizona Normal School, 1917-1925; the Student Association of Northern Arizona State Teachers College, 1926-1929; the students of Arizona State Teachers College at Flagstaff, 1930-1934, 1937-1945; the Associated Students of Arizona State College at Flagstaff, 1946-1965; and the students of Northern Arizona University, 1966-1968. 'La Cuesta' title continues 'The Seniors 1915' and 'Seniors '16', contained within 'The Pine' (school newspaper, continued by 'The Lumberjack,' April 30, 1946)--final issue or year book, issued by the Senior Class; not to be confused with the NAU Alumni Association's magazine. 'La Cuesta' is continued by 'Spirits of '76,' 'Discovery '77,' and 'Northern Arizona University Flagstaff, 1978,' issued by the Alumni Office for the students of Northern Arizona University, 1976-1978. The University issued no yearbooks 1935-1936, 1969-1975, or after 1978 except 'Celebrating the Centennial: NAU Centennial Yearbook' in 1999.
